Chris is from Nashville, TN and grew up in a musical Christian family. He received a Master's degree from Belmont University in Music Education and Saxophone Performance and a Bachelor's degree from Belmont in music as well. Educating and inspiring has always been a part of his life as he spent nearly a decade as a middle and high school band director and served a few years as the head of a private school Performing Arts Department. He even served as one of the saxophone instructors at Belmont University during the 2011 and 2013 school years.
Chris has also been the alto saxophonist for Denver and the Mile High Orchestra since its inception nearly 20 years ago, and he has played on every project for DMHO. He has also just released his debut solo saxophone album entitled "I Surrender All". It is a collection of instrumental music based on classic hymns and well-known praise choruses.
Chris is blessed to have an amazing family: wife, Abi, and kids, Brighton, Grayson, and Evelynn.
Chris is an avid sports follower, loves very dark coffee, and prays that God delivers a free-standing Starbucks close to the new church property. UPDATE! God has provided a free-standing Starbucks!! Now he is praying for a Chick-fil-A.....
